Just bought a memphis 4k. Need to know what kinda electrical it needs battery wise. Gunna get a ho alt but might wait til I get a new truck. Not putting it in yet no matter what but want to buy the batts I'm gunna need. Planning on doing 3 runs of ofc 0 gauge from knu. What's a good budget batt that I could buy a few of?

3 runs? Might be overkill, but it's not going to hurt anything, always better to have extra electrical. How many/what size batts will depend on what size alt you think you will be able to pick up. What do they recommend fusing that amp at?

I'M not sure actually.... Havnt looked that up yet.... I know I can get a 275 amp alt for the car I have now. But if I get the truck I want I'm sure I can get a bit bigger one. And yeah just gonna play it safe with 3 runs lol

For what the 1/0ga? 250A for CCA, 300A for OFC is de facto. Sorry I can't help out too much with the batteries, don't know a whole lot about those :/

for the amp haha idk if thats right though it was just what came up when i googled it. it was like 3 ppl on smd that said that on someones thread.

That amp only single inputs? Yeah, you should probably get those then. Unless it's crazy efficient.

ya i heard its sorta power hungry but o well and ya only has single. just tried to order a volt meter from sonic but it said a error occured when i clicked submit order so i tried it again and the same thing happened. so i might have two coming but idk haha

I got one for like $5 off of ebay, it's just as good. It's got the same refresh rate, not like the fuckin circle ones from Sonic. Those things have a refresh rate of like .0000000000001 seconds. Unreadable.

I don't have experience with the XFL's so I'm not going to say either way. Do you have those subs or are you looking to get new ones? There's a lot of options if you're getting new ones.
