power two amps

i have a 900wat d amp and a 300wat a/b amp. im currently running 4guage to the 900, and when i install the 300 i want to run 8guage to it. can i get a distro block to run 4guage in, with 4guage and 8guage running out (http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNF-12 ?)? an 8guage amp kit at knukonceptz is only 18$, but i kind of want to install this 2nd amp withought having to buy or run another power cabe from the battery. also, can i just splice the remote wires?

that d-block should work just fine for you, and you could just splice your remote wire with a quick splice connector. thats what i would do, dont use a butt connector not as good of connection. good luck, remember though you are gonna have to run two grounds if you install two amps so maybe pick up a ground d-block while your at it.

the reason why im wondering if that distro block will work is i dont know what kind of fuse to get with it to protect 2 dif size wires? should i get an 80amp fuse for the d block, and then put a seperate 50amp fuse on the 8 guage ?

i just saw that dblock has a choice of 2 fuses. is this 1 for both output wires? so i can run dif sizes power wire, and not need a fuse or fuseholder for either?

imo i'd get another 4 gauge amp kit which is only like $30 and wire both amps up seprately without a d-block. as for the remote you can just piggy-back them. run it to one amp terminal and then to the other.
