I have a 15" HC which by the way i just got my Avionixx 800.2 yesterday and boy does it sound good. But thats besides the point, my question is if i were to run it for burps, Iam pretty sure it would take 1800 watts, but for how long would it be safe to run that?

as long as you're not stupid with your playing style, or gain settings... they'll run with 1800 watts without issue

Well i was talking gains up all the way, its for a local comp, so i was just curious and it'll be a 37 hertz tone.

dont turn your gains up.. that makes no sense..

set them correctly, leave them set correctly....

So leave them where i normally would for daily driving? I figured i would get a higher reading if i put them up all the way?

what size box do you have and tuned to what. im excited because my box should arrive tomorrow morning for my hc

600+ will do well, I ran it a few times at 600, and it got pretty loud. BTW, what size is your box and whats it tuned to?
