Power for XXX mids

Hey anyone with xxx mids, just wondering how much power you're giving them. I was thinking about getting an Orion 8004 to power my 4, but if I can get em loud enough with just 100 watts to each (orion 4004), I would go for that. Opinions?

your power is going to depend on how you install them.

i just wired my xxx's directly (for now--looking into passive 2 ohm XOs and tweets) to an mxa6004. they sound pretty good on my back seat, they're not yet mounted-- too diesel for my cheapo adapter rings--but they'll go IB in my doors. mxa handles them well, regular RE components take two channels, XXXs get the other two.
