another thought, a box i made that was 44 wide, 36 deep and 17 tall with 100lbs of sand in the box wasn't all that heavy so who knows.

may i ask why there was sand in the box?

My only guess would be he used the sand to measure the enclosure's internal volume...? But wow, I sure hope not! lol

if you need ask, you need not know. there's other methods to use that work for how i used the sand but i had access to it.

Look, you have purchased some absolutely high end subwoofers. Why not get an amp that lives up to that standard? Your system as a whole is only as strong as the weakest link in it. Right now, i'd say that would be your amps. I know it can cost a lot of money to get some mean *** amps to go with those beast woofers but it's really the only way to do them justice. I'd recommend looking into some US Amps. They are my personal fav. They don't play games with power ratings, what they say the amp can create is usually a little under what it does. I'm about to put 1 RE SX/MX 18" in the back of my rodeo with 1 us amps AX 1500 DE on each coil. I'll post the pics when it's installed.

lol maybe i have 25 adire subs lying around as well? if that is in fact your setup i would just get another orion. i'm running two 2500d's but i cant wire them to 1 ohm just yet cuz im waiting for my SECOND 275 amp crap alternator and dual alt bracket to come in. make sure you have the electrical system to support it. with that much power you cant f around

also i think 2 xxx's weigh more than 144 pounds when i got them i put them on my home scale and they were about 90 pounds each but my home scale could be a little off but not that much
