power for 2 10" Q's

would ~1600 watts be enough? I don't think I want to run my ZX at 1 ohm (stock electrical), so at 2 ohms i can give them around 800 each. are they going to be looking for more power? box would probably in the neighborhood of 2 cubes at 32hz.

Should be alright, might just want to do a pair of SSDs with copper coils. SQ should be close (according to Scott) and the power will be perfect for them. Plus you'll save about $130 on the pair.

Might try a single Loaded BL 15" too. Should keep the enclosure volume in your range. And have plenty of output. E-mail Fi for more info. It should be able to take the ZXs power, but I'd ch.eck to make sure

definately not a 15... i have 2 cubes total, they say 2.8-4 cubes. maybe a 12, but i think that i want to try two tens. i have never had 10s.

That amp should get a pair of them moving pretty good. Or if keeping a little extra $$$ might be of interest, then a pair of SSD10s with the copper coils would work well in your space and with that amp too...

Im using the same amp with a pair of SSD10s sealed in one of my vehicles. While it wont rip heads off, I am happy with the SQ portion of things (well it does get louder than I actually need things to...)

Thanks...

Scott

pssh what do you know about the Q's? :p

i'm looking to fiberglass an enclosure in my trunk, and use as little space as possible. which would perform better in a small box? 2 ten inch Qs or SSDs? i have the room for a small ported box, but if the output is good enough sealed (keeping the ZX), i would prefer that.
