power = flashing

easy lame question for anyone with some knowledge, i got a 45X4 max deck running 2x 4inch 30 rms and 2 6 1/2 150w max and when i go pretty high on the volume (when it hits bigger bass) the deck display kinda fades with the beat, other then looking stupid is there any problems with this?

This is sometimes a symptom of a bad ground. You may also be getting a voltage drop from a small power wire; not all factory decks draw main power from the constant lead, so you might have a smaller wire than you need in the vehicle harness. Upgrading the ground and constant power wires should fix the problem.

thank you kind sir i think you are correct becuase i was only testing it actually wasnt fully installed and the wires were thin and poorly attached... erum, what gauge wires should i be using for the power and ground?

Check wires, upgrade if needed, big 3 if needed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
^^^doesn't know what the **** he's typing-----i would go with 16-18 since you using your head unit to power the speakers. you can run the constant and ignition lead right to the fuse box inside your car although you may need leads with an inline fuse--i would guess 10amps would be fine.
