one 4 gauge cable should be enough. you might need a capacitor but 4 gauge will definately be enough.

You can run just one wire from the battery to a distro block of some sort in the rear. But the gauge of the wire depends. What kind of amps ? How much power ? How long is the run from the battery to where you are going to mount your amps ?
