Are these another brand like pyramid? I am wondering because they seem to have good output, and good prices, but the reviews are not helpful at all. Has anyone had good/bad experience with Power Acoustiks before? specifically the a520-2hp-2channel thanks for the replies.

its ok stuff but wouldnt put on a playing feild with amps like kicker jl alpine memphis tru............ pa usually overhypes the output power alot but are less prone to starting fires than cheaper stuff

so would I be better off buying a used audiobahn a2600e?
the audiobahn would no doubt be more reliable, in putting out not only what it says it will, but also cleaner power, and more durability versus the power acoustik.

pa makes ok stuff, ive used some of it for temporary setups etc but you can do much better for not a lot more

also..not to lead ya off on something else but if you aren't hot on the used audiobahn let us know a little more info on the setup and perhaps we can point ya to a new amp that will fit the budget as well..

and while i'm at it, the rubicons are good amps, i will be picking up a couple actually at millionbuy soon, something similar in power to what you were looking at, doesnt cost a lot, reliable, new:

I just ordered 2 xtant z104 subs, it was a 2 for 1 promo on sound domain. They are reccomending 200 rms to each sub, but I cannot afford that besides from pyle or legacy which do not have good reps. The rubicon has a great price, about what im looking for, but I dont think thats enough power. The audiobahn is 100+shipping and its going 125 rms to each sub. Its comin down to either taking the chance with a seemingly respectible guy, and getting crappy power to my subs.

would put em on the 200rms each

i actually have a pa amp i'm sellin on ebay right now, was the pa21200, that was 250x2 @ 4ohm, 300x2 @ 2 ohm, 600x1 bridged....its brand friggin new except i used it to test a few things, but if you want that i'm sure it'll be enough power and you can always down the gains a bit if need be..
