Power Acoustik?

Anybody know if power acoustik is any good. I am wanting to get a system in a 2002 ranger reg. cab behind the seats. I am just getting a license, and dont have too much money to spend. you are going to get a lot of bad reviews of power acoustik HOWEVER, i have had 2 fubr 12's and as a newb, they were great... i think two fubr 10's would make you happy..

do yourself a favor and get a mono amp, mine is 1200rms and only cost me 145 shipped brand new, you just need to find the right deals...

Can i suggest the new infinity referance 12's? they are on sale at both circuity city (buy one get one free) and at crutchfield for buy one get one free... Two 10's will only cost you a 100 bucks... and i own a pair of the new referance 12's PORTED and they sound great and get loud...

i'm assuming you are going with a sealed box? and you want to buy a prefab or build your own??

how much are you looking to spend for the amp, subs, box, and wiring???

Do you think the infinitys will hit harder and sound better than the power acoustics. Also, if i were to get them i would have to get two 10's because i am probly going to have to make a small box to fit in a regular cab ranger.

they will atleest sound better and with the same power, get louder... get a 600rms amp and port them

i would build your own if you have the time... only 23 for wood, 5 for glue/calk, 5 for screws and you have yourself a custom box... minus the carpet...

i'll try to find a good amp... how much do you want to spend on an amp?

this is probably one of the best amps... just giving you a price of a NEW one... they go for cheaper used on the forums

Im trying to stay around 150 or so on an amp. If i cost more than that i can probly do it, ill just have to save more. Also, are the JL audio w0 10's better than the infinitys.

JL's will have better sq, but the infinity's will get louder because they handle a lot more power. For an amp, Hifonics NX750D or PG R8.01 or Profile AP1000M, something cheap to start with, if you shop around you can find one of these pretty cheap
