This is a Power Acoustik SL-2400 Watt Amp that is in great condition. it was used to push two JL Audio 12W6's but it was just too much power so im looking to downgrade.

I doubt it was to much power for those subs. i'm guessing you didnt set the amp right.

I kmnow how to set it right, i just want to get a nice 1200 watt amp or 1500 watt amp.

Not a post dump but that amp really is a 1200watt amp. So to buy another 1200watt amp is kinda like tossing money down the drain.

Fuse rating??? The sl-2000 is 90amps so I would guess 100amps or so and thats not gonna get u 2400watts. More like 1200... Not dumping just getting the facts correct. GLWS

Cuse if ur amp has 100amps worth of fusing its in no way gonna ever do anywhere near 2400watts. General rule is for every 10amps of rating equals 100watts. Legit 2k amps will have usually 200amps worth of fusing and 2500watt amps 250amps...

^^ tru tru u cant base it all on the fuse rating but if an amp says 2400rms and has a 100amp fuse well its just not gonna happen.
