I actually own two of the Power Acoustik Fubr 10" subwoofers and I have to tell you that they sound really good. I do think that they would be more at home in a ported enclosure. Why am I telling you this?? The Theile Small Parameters for the FBX's and the FUBR's are virtually identical so theoretically they should perform pretty much the same. I know you're thinking that there is no way a Power Acoustik woofer could sound any good, but I am here to tell you that they are definitely worth the money you will spend. Just my $.02.

Actually. Buickskickass is one of my friends. He was looking at these subs and they are the one of the two subsi have not heard by Power Acoustik. So i told him to get on here and ask if any one has them. He is a fan of Power Acoustik. He already knows how good they are. Thanks to me i got him set on them. So if you got any of these subs let him know.

I have an FBX-10 in a 1.5 ft poerted enclosure tuned to 35 hz with only 100 watts to each coil and just had it rta'd at a local shop......134 db.

My official review:

Excellent SPL sub, gets very loud wuth little power.

sound quality, not too bad. maybe it's my setup, or the amp, but bass is not smooth or lifelike, rather more in-your-face, and just plain LOUD!!
