power acoustik amps?

They are decent amps.

I don't believe they will do rated power, but then again no one has ever benched them so anything anyone says is just an assumption.

I have a PA 3000d right now, and am thinking I will get a new "BAMF" series amp for my comps. unless I chose cadence instead...

I'm sure you could find better subs, I like the look of them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif they are beefy, jsut not sure if they're good.

POWER ACOUSTIK SL-3400D Mono Car Audio Amp/Amplifier says its 1200 watts rms at 4 ohms. Anybody have one? Is it any good.
Any good? Sure, but I don't think Power Acoustik has EVER had an amp that was accurately rated. Since they're not often tested it usually turns into a guessing game of how much power you're ACTUALLY going to get out of it vs cost.

The best guess I could make would be using the size of the fuses. With 5x30's and being class D I'd say 1600-1800w optimally (1 ohm), maybe 1200w at 2 ohms, 800-900 at 4.

We always like a guinea pig though -- you should get it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
