power acoustik a3000d or jbl 1200.1

Does this amp really push 3000 watts at 1 ohm or would a jbl 1200.1 be better. I have never had a power acoustik amp, but when I had my jbl 600.1 it pushed at 775 watts. My boy trying to decide which one to get, he running 4 solo-baric l5's at 2 ohms.

obviously the PA will produce more power. It may be overrated but it won't be too far off. And no, it won't give u 3000at 1ohm.

I'd suggest the PA, since the JBL will most likely starve the subs. U are talking about running one amp correct?

JBL is more reliable.

PA will produce more power.

More than likely around 2100 or so.

hmm...i just realized u wanted it at 2ohms. If ur gonna be running 2ohms then i suggest the JBL, because of build quality. However, the PA will allow you to upgrade. There are also many other options out there, do u have a budget?
