My deck got ripped off about two weeks ago now, after having to repair TWO windows, I dont have any money for a replacement deck. However, I do have an old portable CD player, and a pretty old school MP3 player. I was wondering if it would be possible to maybe slice up a headphone wire from the CD player or MP3 player, and rig it up to the cars wiring. Rigging up the power wires to the car is not needed, because both can run off the lighter. Has anyone ever tried this before, and if so what were the results? Also, other than splitting the right head phone wire to go to the front right and back, and the left wire to go to the front left and back speakers, is there anything else that I should know? I did the wiring (if you can even call it that, its very simple) for the deck origionaly, so I'm pretty confidant I know what I'm doing. But, if anyone sees a problem, please point it out. Thanks for the help Profane Legacy
