"gangsta" the port, in other words, leave it sticking out of the box. if it is 3 1/4" wide, then you need it atleast that far away from a wall. i'd go and get a piece of pvc pipe the same width, but longer, and just leave it sticking out, maybe put an elbow on it, on the outside of the box so it looks like a periscope or something, be creative. but cutting it and tuning it over 40, you'll probably unload your sub, and blow something.</p></blockquote><p></p>
