yea but the bad part I see is you need to make 2 diff. size pieces of wood then (one for the port, or even 2, and 1 for the port side of the box)... vs just the 2 sides being the same cut

anyone know where to get these for cheap.... JUST FOR THE FLARE. not the rest of the tube.. So far I saw 14 bucks...which doesnt sound to cheap.

Yes there are flares on both sides of the tube. If you want pieces only check out http://www.thrilleraudio.com. Its only like $3+ shipping for a flare. I use 4" pvc as my center sections for testing purposes so I don't screw up the good abs piece. Then when I have the tuning dialled in perfect I'll cut my good center section to fit.
