Work hard enough you can get the 3.0 easssy. Bloomsburg is my choice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif first check out the campus, make sure the hunnies are worth it

yeah. i really like bloomsburg, but that program req are really throwing me off. the 3.5 req is for computer, mechanical, and aerospace engineering (the only 1's that sound interesting to me). i could get a 3.0, but i dunno about a 3.5.

It sounds cliche but......Dont choose a college you know you can get through, Challenge yourself or else it just wont be worth it. I settled on my college. Some classes arn't challenging so I skip, but yet I have a C in them. The campus is a "dry" one but no way in hell is it enforced, dont let that sway you. More people=more friends/women. just my .02

I say bloom. never even heard of both, but it seems like the environment is nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

and more chicks but the 2 hour drive can be a pain.

yeah i know. and blooms prgram is awesom. 2 bachelors degrees and 1 is from PSU which is a great engineering school. my dad is PSU alumni. hes a civil engineer. he says PSU is a very good school for engineering. and i know temple wont hold a candle to it, which worries me.

and ive actually heard that the alcohol laws at bloom are actual enforced and very stict. this isnt a big deal, but it kinda bothers me. and more people IS better, but i dont like HUGE campuses. and with many people comes huge campuses

I definitely like having a small campus over a large one. I go to a school with 3500 undergrad kids and it takes me no more than 10 minutes to walk across campus (but the buildings are still spread out). And its a 20 minute walk from my apartment to the FARTHEST building from my apt.

I have friends that go to BIG schools (iowa, Indiana, illinois, etc.) and they have to take buses to class or else its a half hour walk. I couldn't deal with that.

yeah, like PSU main. its a huge city made up of a college. my dad said that when he went there he sometimes would have a class across the campus from the last one. and he said he had to jump on a bus, and it would take him 20 minutes to get from 1 class to another...hurrying.

went to bloomsburg today for a visit...and boy did it start off bad. i woke up and got ready, went to put in my contacts, and i FREAKIN tore em. it was my last pair too, and the eye doctor wasnt open. so i went blind, lol. We went outside and it was so nice and warm out, so i didnt grab my hoodie. so were riding up 476 - The Northeast Xtension of the turnpike, when we hit a wall of traffic. well turns out there was an accident just before the leihigh tunnel. a car flipped over. so we sat completely still for 2 1/2 freakin hours. well we miss the first part of the tour, but make it to the second. when we get there, i get out of the car and its like 20 below and i had no hoodie. WTF? how the **** did it drop from florida temp to alaska temp in 150 miles? well i ended up buying a bloomsburg fleece. it was XXL and still to small, but it served its purpose

Well other than that crappy morning it went well. I liked the campus, very nice. T1 internet and the campus is 75% wireless. even off campus apartments can tap into the wireless T1 line, WOOT. now this dont compare to PSU harrisburg's 100% wireless T3 line, but the rest of PSU harris sucked *** anyways. definatly alot of females there. too bad i couldnt see them very well. i have some options and flexibility with my 3+2 program which is a BIG relief. so right now im leaning toward bloom, but i think im gonna visit temple too.

but what do you guys say? i need more opinions, VOTE please!

honestly i'd goto the smaller cheaper one to start off with. not only is it easier to get used to, you get to find out if you really want this life (after all your probably going to be there for the next 4 years.. so you had better be willing to make the sacrafices). you may think your ready but until being there and living the life you really dont know. beyond that, it all depends on what you can deal with, i had the opprotunity to goto ku full paid. but i chose not to because i wanted to be far away, start off fresh, and pay for everything myself. but some people just arn't comfortable with being far away from home. i've always moved around so i love it. (then again the ratio of women is 3-6 to one.. changes yearly) also look to see what average class sizes. while bigger class sizes are easier to cheat in smaller ones are easier to learn in. there are so many pros and cons to each but for the first year or so i'd try a small one. feel free to pm me with any questions at all you have. i know we have had our beefs but this is a serious topic and im more then willing to help you with any questions you have, weather it be general knowledge or helping you with financial aid
