Here is a photoshop mockup of what i want to do this summer. Just looking for opinions is all.

This is my first real attempt at photoshop, so try to look past the crappy chopping skills //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

How the truck sits now:

And a rough chop of what i want to do to it (painting the plastics is cheap, im not painting the whole thing.....yet)

those are just the best placed black wheels i could find on google for that image. I'll probably go with something different (i dont really like the chrome spots on the rockstars)

And im leaving it textured. It will either be line-X'd or gatorbacked, whatever is cheaper at the time.

the closest line-x place to me wanted a crazy price for it

even with me pulling it all off and taking it about 1 1/2 hours away.

a got a buddy who works for line-x over here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif EDIT: works at a place that does line-x

they do both gatorback and line-x though, so we'll see.

depends if your ever gonna rip the truck off road, if not it pointless to lift a truck thats just gonna pound pavement

i hated selling all 9 of mine:crying:

the worst was letting the 00 tahoe go.

although when the guy put 10k cash in front of me and the truck had 162k on it.

i obviously let it go

my favorite would either be the 79 ramcharger or 86 k5 blazer

drove the blazer almost 900 miles from IL to louisiana. got about 10 miles inside louisiana and the right rear tire blew. talk about a hell of a ride. i was looking right into the sky. for the drive down it had 38.5's on it

12" susp

3" body

reverse shackles

approx 18" of lift total before tires adding to it
