I'm thinking about getting tested for std's... I've always used a condom besides with my long time girlfriend I had a couple years ago. Thought it would be a good idea although I'm pretty sure I'm safe. How often do you get tested??

I have a paper in my wallet stating I'm HIV negative. It can be fun to bust up couples talking at bars. You gotta be able to judge weather the guys gonna swing before hand though. LAWL.

I never used to get tested, but now I do. It's definitely worth the peace of mind.

I just go to the local combined health district, since I don't have health insurance, it doesn't cost that much.

I don't have any documentation, but they don't take your blood if you have an STD.

Is there still a lengthy latency period for HIV where it may no show up for several months after exposure?
