Im gonna replace my almost-dead Dash tomorrow, and I'm trying to decide between these two phones.

-Samsung Behold

-Blackberry Curve

Cnet rates the Curve a little higher, but user reviews are just about equal. I've had a blackberry curve before and loved it, minus how it could be fairly laggy. The Behold seems to have excellent features for its size. Internet really isnt a big concern seeing i have wireless access on my laptop throughout campus (where i live).

Post up your opinions and VOTE!

yeah its a tough boat for me. I like the way the samsung looks a lot better, but i've never had a strictly touchscreen phone before. I do a lot of text messaging (1200 this month, so about 600 typed myself), which may take some getting used to.

I have the BB Pearl, which I like, but wouldn't mind trying something new.

That behold is pretty slick looking.

Thing I don't like about the BB Curve is how big it is. I need something that fits in the pocket, and the curve don't do that too well, and I can't stand having shit on my belt buckle.

After playing with both, i ended up getting the Behold.

Only thing that the curve had on the behold was wifi/internet, which i dont need in a phone. Both were the same price, but the curve required me to add a $35/mo charge for the internet, which i didnt want.

I've had my behold for a week now. Compared to the iphone the touch screen on the behold sucks. If you need email, the blackberry is the way to go.

I've also noticed my behold lags. When sending a text you can tilt the phone to get the keyboard. Sometimes it needs to be tilted a couple times. Also the phone lock is retarded. Sometimes it will not unlock when trying to answer a call.

Battery life is kinda crappy also.

Otherwise the phone is just fine.

Nothing, and I mean nothing beats blackberrys for emails, mms's, and messages period. The new blackberry curve should be coming to tmobile by early next year.. I have a blackberry bold, and love it. As for the comment big bang on the size of the curve, unless you wear spandex, I can't see how you would have issues fitting it in you're pocket. The curve is a relatively small full keyboard smartphone. My bold fits in my pocket easy

I love my blackberry curve. It does lag on occasion if I try to manuever through things too fast but it is not a big problem. It is a larger sized phone than i have had before but it fits in my pocket just fine. I have had it about 9 months with zero problems whatsoever.
