I keep getting mixed reviews on pretty much every speaker. I was going to go HAT. Then ID, then Rainbow...I know it is all personal preference, but I would like to see a general idea... Running 125 RMS to each and listen to mostly rock with some metal and some R&B

I think $200 should be about right unless they are "that much better" for the extra 1/4 of the price. The Pioneer are $270 on woofers ets. right now...

The mids are very smooth with a nice balance. Not too punchy. Thye compliment the IDQ nicely.

The tweeter is very detailed and crisp. This helps as I drive a convertible and I like a crisp sound. It depends on the music. Some hard rock (ie scorpions) can be a bit much with the volume up.
