plexi glass window

my stupid neighbor is building a box for one audiobahn flame 6 series the box size is right but he wants to put a plexi glass window in the box so you can see the basket the window will be about 5x8 in but it is only an 1/8 of an inch thick and i told him it wasnt thick enough and it would flex thus causing it to sound like crap is that correct or ill his idea work well

5x8 eh? Might not flex that much, but I will still suggest thicker plexi glass.

yeah...let him build it and film it when he turns it on and the whole thing cracks......he needs at least 1/2"....most likley thicker....flame q's are power hungry. btw...is this your neighbor....or "your neighbor"?
