Hate to jump in on this, but feel someone needs to, the 2500D's have serious defects, especially after about 3 years or so, the legs break off the output FETs from the board flopping around inside the heatsink due to lack of support in the area between the power supply and the output inductors. Could be only part of the amp working, that is why it is putting out only 20V and the power supply usually is fine so it's probably driving into some shorted out FETs drawing tons of current, that's why it's getting hot. Those amps are great till they start having problems. I get them in the shop all the time, there are ways to stop it from flexing, I think even Orion/DEI put out some info on how to fix it. Best thing to do is unplug it before you burn up the power supply and go from a $125 repair bill to a $175 repair bill. Chris
