Hello i am new with this audio thing. I want just a solid set up. I love the sound of a 10" woofer for my listening needs.

First off 1996 explorer (secondary vehicle)

stock alternator (not replacing)

4 gauge wiring kit to a Power Akoustik 1.5 farad cap

early 2000ish Kicker Kx600.1 class D mono block amp

Qlogic type 2 single 10" enclosure 1.0 cuft

Alpine SWR-1043D Type-R 10" Subwoofer with Dual 4-Ohm Voice Coils

Pioneer avh 4200

I belive this is enough power to push the sub.

I am clueless on how to wire the sub. Does anyone know how to wire the sub for the amp i will be running? This is wear i trust your input. I dont even know the amount of power the sub puts out. Does anyone have any specs? Please let me know what you think....none of this is installed yet. All just sitting in the closet waiting to get some more info.

Alpine SWR-1043D 10" Type-R Car Subwoofer/Sub (SWR1043D)

rms 300-600 watts

Dual 4 ohm coils would give you a final ohm load of 2ohms.

to wire it:
