If so you may have damaged the factory amp in the truck I would think the wires on the back of the factory Hu are signal wires only putting out a couple volts and you drove more to the amps input then it could take and it was not going to get any louder as you increased the volume because the speaker will only get as loud as the amp it's hooked to (only a guess as the factory set-up is now not working)</p></blockquote><p></p>
