I am trying to hook up my new pair of subs, this is the first time ive really done this. -I already wired my amp with 4g power wire -I am using a standard fuse, crutchfield claims I need a new one (For 105-amp fuse protection, an ANL wafer style fuse is required, but none of the 4-gauge wiring kits include a ANL-style fuse holder) -I have my 6x9's powered by a smaller version of this amp and they sound great. Here is what I have: AMP: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-QNipEvROBwI/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=120&id=detailed_info&i=026TS19202 SUBS: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8077083363&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT WIRING KIT: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=280001430407&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT I have no idea how the subs are wired in the box....I used to have them powered with a mono amp and I would only have to run the speaker wire to the 2 right terminals and it would power both. What I need to know is, what is the optimal way to wire these babys?? I have tried a few things, the wiring that prooved most effective was running the right channel + and left channel - to the right terminals, and the left channel + and right channel - to the left terminals. They hit pretty effin hard, but only with the bass boost all the way up, the XOVER set to LPF, and the LPF at about 100. I can say I am a little disappointed, considering the size of the amplifier and the power I get....I heard one guy say this amp set off alarms down the street. Anywho, if anyone could PLEASE help me understand this, and how I should wire and set the dials I would be forever in your debt....and would be willing to return the favor in any way I can. CHEERS!
