Santa Cruz and Alaska sound fun. Anyone know of things to do while there? Im really not looking for anything except just to go outside of Texas. I just dont want it to be some place where you at least need 1 more with you. I would imagine vegas to be that way.

santa cruz has the boardwalk, and is just beautiful. My aunt has a house there and every so often we'd stay with her for the weekend and chill out there

Compton in Cali is a pretty chill place to visit. Good food, down to earth people, historic buildings, etc. FYI don't wear blue or red clothing.
