Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD Navigation?

My friend owns the Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD and is looking to get navi added on. Can you simply buy a Navigation software package to upgrade his unit to navi?

I would like to know this too, as I'm buying an Avic-ZI if I can't add navi to a PVH-6800DVD.

i believe you will have to buy the whole navi system. which consists of the DVD-rom drive and software. it is an external add on piece, i dont believe you can just buy the software, i think you have to have the hardware as well.

You can add the nav but you need an AVIC-88DVD

This is the external navigation drive.
