Pioneer AVH-2400BT and iPhone apps

Hello there,

I recently got the CD-IU51V cable for the Pioneer players in order to use the App Mode. I was wondering if I there is any way to get the app on my phone up on the head unit. It does say that AVH-2400BT support the Advanced App Mode feature, yet the pioneer app is not supported. I have been reading about some app you can install through jailbreak, but I can't seem to get this working.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get apps up on the head unit monitor?

It has to to be or how else would it be navigation app accessible. I just purchased the Pioneer avh-p4400bh and am a bit confused on what applications I can run through the head unit and also how to get them onto the screen. Please let me know if you get anywhere with our common problem. Thanks.
