Pimp My ride Jackhammer x2?

Any1 just see this on pimp my ride. They put dual Jackhammers powered with like 16 amps or something and a shitload of batterys and like 400 feet of wire. And they measured 136 db. That doesnt seem like to much for dual jackhammer's the "most powerful speakers on the planet." I mean it wasnet closed or anything so no room to build up pressure.

U think that was the max for that meter? cause it had a Decimal point with some small number after it.

if its a crappy radio shack one i think it only goes to like 136

no it seemed like a pretty heavy duty meter. It wasent hand held. Had like an EQ looking think i think and numbers. Looked like a VCR with more digital numbers to describe the size

Legal trouble because if the guy goes deaf, he can blame MTV for causing that, playing the music too loud. They installed it and they cant control how the person can play it..so they have to limit it, but still, Mad Mike said its gonna be louder than any other system...pretty pathetic when in a trunk setup and a single 15 with 500w I got louder thatn 136.

well...... id ont know the recommended box/port size for those subs. but it looked like at max it was a 5-6 cube foot box. And with port and SUB displacement it looked like about 4 cube foot was taken up lol. So it looked like it was in MAYBE....... MAYBE 2 cube box ported. That and it was in a huge vehicle. When u hit 150 arent ur windows rolled up and playing test tones? I dont know im not an SPL guy

When they did that one in that car the SPL meter only said 136 also... who knows.
