Well I am kinda peeved off at ikesound.com. I ordered a bunch of sound from them and well to say I got half of it. I purchased 2 of the pioneer 3004spl 12" subs and a wiring kit and Lanzar xover and 2.4 cap. So I get one sub yesterday and was like where is the other one? I called there warehouse in florida where I thought it was shipped. She tells me she could only send one because they are on back order for like 3 to 5 weeks. Was like well you guys need to put what is in and what isnt in stock on your website. So was like fine just send it when you get it. So to say I get off the phone and open up my new Pioneer 3004spl woofer. I open it and to my shock isnt even right sub!!!! It is a Pioneer but the spl 2004spl woofer. So had to call back and by this time I am really pis ssed! So tell them I am sending this back and to just cancel my woofers. She did so but I ended up having to pay 20 bucks to send it back. **** it!! Anyway hopefully the rest of my stuff comes in. If I was you guys would stay away from ikesound! Unless I just got delt a bad hand, who knows.

So now to my main question since I dont want to wait anymore I bought 2 of the alpine 12" type R's. These things look like they can handle more than 500rms a piece. Do you think I will sound as good as those pioneers I was going to get or no?? I am powering it with a Lanzar 1100watt VFC1 ohm stable high current amp. The Alpine are great subs for the money. They're hyped alot around here recently and some people dont like them but I have 1 12'' and I love it. You should be really happy with your choice, sorry about the bad luck from ikesound should have fought that more they sent you the wrong product they should have paid to take it back.

Yeah I agree they should have taken it back. This is my first experience buying stereo equipment off the internet and so far has not worked out so well. But you live and learn in all aspects. Maybe next time I will choose more wisely. Peace!

yea, u'll love the alpine. great sub and they will walk and dump all over the 3004. no contest.
