phone contract is up question

When your phone contract is up, do you have to cancel service or do they just cut you off.

I have sprint right now and really don't want another two years with them. This has been my first phone contract, so I really don't know.

What did you guys do?

dude before you let your plan lapse, call their customer service and tell them you are cancelling. they will connect you to the cancellation department who will bend over backwards to keep you.

i had locked in 2k minutes, unlimited nights/text/internet for 2 lines at like 65 bucks after taxes. When I went to Iraq the contract expired and my wife didnt' pay attention so now we are in at a somewhat decent 110/mo. I def plan on pullin that shit again though in april when our plan is up again.

Go with AT&T... I've had them for like 7 years or so now, when they were Cingular and have only good things to say about the CS and reception. Finally we have pretty much the best selection of cool phones out there too.

when its up most of the time 2 years it will keep going . if u call them and say i want it to stop at the 2 year mark that will work. othere wise it will b on a month 2 month contract. same price etc etc.
