I received an email today saying that a 3rd party has accessed my account. Haha yeah right. Anyways it said that my account was limited, and I needed to login and provide verification info. If the url itself wasnt a dead giveaway, or the fact that there was no https, or even the fact that entering in a username of suckmycock@yourgay.com with a password of "I am reporting this site" got into "my" account validation, I dont know what would be. LOL at these sites, I mean seriously.

That's the worst website address ever.

At least make it "www.paypal.xyz.com" or something so at least it looks a little legit.

I like how they ask for the ATM pin too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Now just pray they did not install a backdoor trojan on your PC because you were an idiot and went to the site.. That would be the lolz for sure.
They wont. I am smarter then that. These phishing sites are only geared to get people's info, NOT to install 3rd party programs. Besides, I heavily monitor my PC, incoming and outgoing connections. I know whenever something happens on my PC that I didn't directly initiate.

Haha yeah, and SSN. Not even paypal asks for that. This is one of the most un-official ones that I have seen. They didn't even put up the paypal logo.

No if you were smarter than that you would have not even clicked on the link. I know you think with your Zone Alarm and Norton AV you are some type of fortress that can not be taken down (The software vendors give us this false sense of security so we buy) the only way you are ever really safe is when your shit is unplugged from the internet and any type of power source.

You can keep kidding yourself if you would like though I am sure Geek Squad appreciates the business

I am not using either of those programs, or any other program available at retail. I dont go to anybody for computer software. I am not "kidding" myself. I am going to leave it at that, because there is no sense arguing over stupid shit, especially on a forum.

And, as stated previously, phishing sites are not intended for computer harm, but rather to gain financial info.

yea, they'ed never put a key stroke logger on ur comp. hopefully they crash your comp and steal all of your money so you can't afford to have it fixed. NoOb

oh wow lol. I guess you don't realize that things can be downloaded in the background without user intervention?
