This was about as bad as Rodney King.

So much for innocent before proven guilty.

I hope they hang those officers....but I assume they will be exonerated because they have "stressful" jobs.

It's definitely too bad that this stuff happens. I know most cops are good, but these incidents give all cops a bad reputation.

You are wrong. Just because someone wronged me doesn't mean they should get beat down. Remember these people were suspects. They were not proven guilty in court. In this country we have a legal process (albeit flawed) to determine guilt or innocence. It is not within the job description of the police department to enact their opinion of guilt, proper punishment, and then enforce said punishment.

Furthermore, I do not support the death penalty even if the killed my parents. If I kill them I am no better than the killers themselves. I would not support the death penalty.

i live in philly and am probably 3 mins away from the street the beating happened. I believe the cops should beat those mofos up. Too many crimes around here and its time for the police to step up. Show the public who's in charge, the police not these criminals.

Police brutality is the best mechanism for police to "step up"? I know of a parent beat the shit out of a child locally and she's in jail for showing someone "who's in charge".

if you live in philly you would know that crimes are everywhere. People aren't intimidated by the police anymore. Most people including me do not give the respect these law enforcer deserves. I mean their job is to uphold the peace yet people like these criminals think they could outrun the cops and cause havoc. Come on they are police trying to serve the public and they get pay so little.
