Pg xenon x400.1 on atlas

do you think it would be ok to put 400-500 watts on an atlas. My friend has one and he wants more output. Right now its on 250-300 watts.

Putting it on that amp does not mean it will see 400 watts. The volume knob and gain setting will be the final say in how much power it really sees.

i know im just asking if its ok to set the gains a little higher on an atlas cause i know most subs can take more than rated but not sure about this one

as long as you're not clipping, but you could be limiting life.

no personal experience with the sub, just speculating

well ill tell him to go ahead and get it and if it doesnt likeit well turn down the gains to an appropriate level
