[QUOTE="zfactor, post: 1917868, member: 564017"] okay a few things: xenon sheets on mono amps: throw that one out the window its not correct, all the xenon amps after the initial problems happend were re-qc'ed at pg. only the ones that went down the ms line got the new sheets. ALL of the x600.1's had soldering issues when arriving at pg. these issues are what limited the amps initial power ratings. once pg found and started fixing these before they were boxed to leave the amps consistanlt ALL TEST OVER 800+WATTS!!! period. if yours is reading 612 most likly it is in the 830+range. if it read 620 it would end up near 890 like the ones i have 879.6 and 896.4... there is no doubt period you have over 800 watts. parts ct wise when compared to the x1200.1 is very minimal, 2 fets, 4 caps, are the main differences. hell the 600.1 IS TECHNICALLY CAPABLE OF ABOUT 1700 WATTS+ with the right xe-load mod. this is not a good idea for daily use as they will over heat this way if run at 1ohm,, at 2ohms with xe-load bypassed the do about 1200 watts all day long mine we benched at 1192 @ 2ohms with the mod... we ran it for 6 hours w/ mo shutdown... now #2: you will see LESS YES I SAID LESS POWER AT 2OHMS THAN AT 4OHMS when used normally at 4 ohms. this is the nature of xe-load. the power loss is minimal maybe 50 watts or so, so you are still near 800 watts...like i said your amp does 800+ it just didnt go down that line at pg to get the new sheets. the one you have were generic ones simply processed if the amp basically turned on and worked in korea...
