Soooooo glad to be living at home here in the U.S. for the moment. A normal 6cl (1.5oz) glass of any of the most basic single malts I enjoy so much cost me almost 25 dollars when I was living in Sweden. Was terrible!!!!

Thank you sir, I have a collection going. Believe it or not both of those are over 2 years old, with me, plus what they are aged. I enjoy a nice drink, but don't get carried away, god forbid I should go through a $200 bottle of liquor in one night:crap:

I've never been to Scandinavia, is there a significant tax on alcohol?

It can be so easy though. Especially if you are with one or two close friends who also enjoy the Whisky and over good conversation!

I basically started drinking Scotch because all the "big wigs" in the company do. I try to stay in good with the boys club. I turned out liking it, so it was worth it in the long run. J&B is a good alternative to the expensive stuff though, I go through quite a bit of that

At least the education is free and i bagged two masters with no tuition though. I do need to factor in my drinking there before i can say for sure if it was actually cheaper than if i had done it here
