Shit.....My grandpa traps squirls and chipmunks in one of those steel traps, then ties it to the end of his dock and chunks the thing in the water till the fuggers drown.

Not worth the price of a shell.

And if you reach in to pull them out and they bite you, you could get some sort of disease.

And that's not saying I advocate it. I wish he'd take them a couple miles away and just release them.....But I see where he's comming from as well.

Use the sack n' whack method...just turn the cage upside down into a garbage bag or something, and whack that thing against a rock...instant kill, costs next to nothing, and the animal doesn't suffer

It's not like a human where it takes 5 minutes for them to drown.

I can understand killing the racoon if it was being a pest and killing your animals...but why shoot the mice?

I shot the mice that made it into the house. hard living in the middle of 300~ acres and keeping the mice out!

for the record, the racoon exploded, it was pretty nasty actualy and I did not enjoy cleaning it up.
