Use the sack n' whack method...just turn the cage upside down into a garbage bag or something, and whack that thing against a rock...instant kill, costs next to nothing, and the animal doesn't sufferNot worth the price of a shell.

I shot the mice that made it into the house. hard living in the middle of 300~ acres and keeping the mice out!I can understand killing the racoon if it was being a pest and killing your animals...but why shoot the mice?
