im gettin a pet snake from a shop down the road from me and i have 4 choices but cant decide. which should i get.

albino california king snake= 55 $

albino corn snake=55$

red tail boa= 90$

ball python= 50$

all are just a few months old and look pretty cool. but im having trouble decide. which one you think is the coolest?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

thats what i was leaning tward cause it only gets bout 5-6 ft long and the red tail boa can get up to 12 ft long if you power feed it and that wouldnt be cool considering it could eat my dog and would need a monster cage.

Get the one you like the most?

Ive cared for reptiles 12+years id consult with the shop owner or better yet a reptile forum because a lot of those shop owners dont know shit. But ask which is the easiest to tame. Cause some reptiles are stubborn and really hard to tame.

Cage? just let that sucker rome the house //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif... Thats what i do with my iggy anyway, his cage is the house

Although if u have dogs not a good idea i guess

i went there today and they let me hold one of the ball pythons and it was just chilling in my hand for like 10 minutes and never moved and ive been researching all of them and the ball seems the easiest to deal with.

this is just my opinion you dont have to take it but unless youve been caring for reptiles for several years and have owned many other lizards i would not get an iguana and iguana is for the Advanced herp carer

May i ask if you have owned any other lizards?

I would go with the Ball Python, like everyone says they are easier to deal with. The Boa is the 2nd choice. The King snake and Corn snakes are way hard to tame, they tend to be more aggressive. I have dealt with all four snakes back in high school when I worked at a pet store. The pythons were the most selling snakes.
