LOL another dumb car audio story.

see this kid today at the beach who always talks about systems....always says he's getting this and that but never gets it.....well now he is getting 2 15" L7s and a "6000 watt amp"

i say what amp

"Performance Teknique"

i say "wtf"

"i bet it's 3000rms IF THAT, and that 6000 is MAX which is bull"

he says "no way we tested it"

i say "unless you atleast used a clamp meter and tested the voltage and amps, then multiplied you have no idea wha it really does"

so long story short, he says they did all that and it does the 6000, and his new 2 15" L7 will pwn all b/c of his 6000watt amp.

and this is the same setup in his bosses benz SUV...which ive heard about many times but not in person.....

i think i'll try to send this to him and make him feel like a tard.

**and i know that may not be the right way to test an amps output but i read someone doing that not to long ago.....

LOL i cant wait till he gets these 2 15's and my friends 1 15" hd3 on a sundown pwns him!!!

but then again this is like the 4th set of 15s he is supposed to get....along with 2 12" type-Rs....2 15" type-Rs....couple of diamond 12s....and now L7s ahahahha

guess i was generous....im betting its overrated....

1000watts per 15" L7 still gets down i bet....

i told him im getting a new alternator and he gave me a look like "boy wtf does an alternator have to do with your system"

Wouldn't surprise me if those RMS numbers are a little overrated either.

lame 6k amounting to 2 in overall output, on another note I owned one of their amps in an older car of mine since it came with the car, I had it running on 1 ohm pushing a 15" memphis sub, and it moved it decently, the amp was some little 800 watter, and to my surprise i can't believe it even handled a 1 ohm load.

i sent him a message with the link, and the specs....told him ask anybody...MAX output means absolutely nothing, the amp will never do that much power....and RMS is what actually matters b/c its what the amp actually does (not considering overrating)

i told him if thats a 6k amp....then my friend/his friend's 1500D sundown is really a 3000watt MAX amp and the amp im getting is really 8000watts.

amp should be here soon and i just put in another order. thats all i really want to say on that subject b/c everyone seems to think he's a scammer; i dont.
