People who hate Bass

we got a dude here thats like probably pushing 70 that drives around and thinks he's mr cop with a little notepad. If he sees kids hanging out he'll write down plate numbers and call em in and shit. The cops dont even take him seriously anymore he calls so much dumb shit in. Well he got into it with me at the gas station because my bass apparently was going to "make his house fall in". Needless to say the cops told him to stfu and quit following me everywhere.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
I had a neighbor like that one time. She called on our TV speakers before. HT receiver wasn't even on. Just Guitar Hero metallica on 70" mitsubishi speakers. LOL

I'm sorry, see theres no noise ordinance here so in the middle of the day there was nothing he could really do about it, I just found it funny after too long.

See , after she called the cops on us for having music low enough to talk over i researched the laws here. law states a child can make as much noise as they want , and a child playing non-amplified music instruments too. So i got my kid a junior drum kit , real sticks , real skins and all. Just it was smaller than a regular drum kit and let her bang her little heart out. She was 4 years old with metallica playing in a discman while she beat the S outta her drums till midnight. LOL. Also i bought a DB meter from radioshack , because the law states to break the ordinance you must be over 65 DB for 30 seconds straight at your property line. I just so happened to live in the center of an apartment complex , so everytime they would come i would pull out my printed copy of the law and walk them to the property line with my DB meter , stereo still at full tilt with door shut like it was when they got there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

is it for the state of texas or just the county you live in? i live in harris county in houston, and sometimes i have the habit of turning down my music when i see a cop because when i was in california, everyone got pulled over if the cops heard loud bass. cops gave my cousin 2 warning s about it. lol

Oh I'm up in Indiana right now, the state as a whole here doesnt have one, its just county to county. Idk about Texas, I'm from just east of there in Jefferson County, but I always keep my music down at night there, big cities usually have noise ordinances.

Lolz, I made a small ***** statement over there and 2 douches tried to take point but one idiot actually gave me positive on accident, so now I have a good looking rep from my first post.

Yeah , she moved out soon after that. A Kenwood VR-4080 (650 RMS) 5 Velodyne CHT satellites , RD Audio Sonance 15 in 3.5 Cubes @ 30HZ , ran by a ZX750.1 on a rack mount power supply was just too much for her to deal with. LOL. My friends in the apartment 5 doors down could walk empty glasses on the coffee table when i played bass heavy stuff. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif i miss my HT.
