So, I'm trying to sell a few amps here on the board, and other boards as well. My original asking price is 150 plus shipping. The following is PM sent between the two of us:

Potential Buyer: 135 shipped for the pcx-480? lmk Thanks

Me: Would you be willing to do 150 shipped and pay pal fees?

Potential Buyer: nah i have to pay for college

Me: OK

I just had to laugh at the fact that $15 more for an amp would make him not be able to pay for college. Mind you, I just graduated from college in May, so I know the costs incurred for it. But really, $15. That is all. I just got a chuckle out of it. Any other stories like this? You're thoughts?

I'm not complaining. I find it hilarious

And, seeing how my original asking price was 150 plus shipping, which would have been approx. 10-15...that makes the difference about 25-30. I was basically trying to meet in the middle for the both of us.

I understand that that is all he has to spend. I've had the same problems in the past trying to get things on a budget. That wasn't really my point of the thread. I guess the point was, why tell me an excuse like that? Why not just say, "hey, all i can afford right now is 135. Good luck with your sale"?
