peeling carpet...

so im going to be buying a sub box. but the thing is, carpet in certain places is peeling. i was wondering how can i glue it back on or should i just rip all the carpet off?

its up to you if you want to recarpet it or not. Depending on how thick the carpet it, and the color, you might be able to get away with tacking it down with some spray glue (3M 77) and brad nails, or a staplegun if you have it.

if i rip off the carpet is it going to leave residue? it can be sanded off right? if i dont have a staple gun would a regular stapler work? i know its ghetto to do that, but it would be better than seeing the carpet peeling off.

how about a hammer and brad nails.

there is a high chance that it will leave residue.

actually i dont see how it couldnt.

i'd to nails, and glue and paint them to match the carpet, but thats me.
