[QUOTE="Do_, post: 962577, member: 556295"] Hello. I had a bass amp that I had been using for a while that finally blew. It was a Peavy Minx powered bass amp. Anyhow the speaker inside it is still in good condition and works just fine. The subwoofer is 10" in diameter. Something in the amp went bad. Tried replacing fuses and it just shoots blue sparks and dies again. Anyhow I took apart the cabinet and got the speaker out. I played some music through it with an mp3 player and an adaptor I made and it sounds good. Anyhow I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the power handling capabilities of it or anything. I know it won't be that good or exactly... very smart to work with but, it's more just a little project to spend some time on. Anyhow if I could find the power handling I could get a low power amp to run it. I am guessing it's probably not too high power oriented. It just doesn't look like high power subs do. Anyhow if anyone has anything to chip in or any advice or experience I'd appreciate it! I don't want to bust this subwoofer because it's rare that I get something like this to play with lol.
