no other reason than Paypal sucks, and the rules they make **** even more. I really wish people would stop using paypal to be honest. Its so easy to be scammed and they dont give a ****.

mmm pretty sure there's another reason... because paypal is actually helping me if the buyer is trying to scam me.

Is it an e-check? I'm thinking they paid with their bank account, however dont have a valid CC on file so Paypal holds the amount until it clears with their bank. Unlike the normal person with valid CC on file where paypal just adds the funds to your account and if the buyer has insufficient funds in their bank account paypal will pull from the CC (or secondary account).

Like others said, they release it after the buyer leaves positive feedback, after your tracking # shows that the package got there, or 21 days after the auction if the buyer does not file a claim. Its a pain in the ***

It genarally takes 24-48 hour after + feedback. Especially on the weekend. My guess is it will be released by Monday morning.

how many sales have you had on ebay? if you havent had many sales or your feedback is low then they will hold the money until the buyer recieves the item. buyer protection. so they dont get a box of wood and you close your account before they can get their money back.
