Paypal finally replied on the issue.

Well few weeks back an eBay seller sold me "SW9122" for 150 shipped which turned out to be SW8122DVC (crappy packaging) when i received it. So i tried contacting him and get a refund which he refused to give. He tried sending me 50 and call it even. I already got another sub and I don't need this one.

Well now paypal tells me to ship it back + add insurance +package it well at my own cost and wait 2 weeks and then i shud get my 150 back.

Personally i don't want to ship this thing at my own cost. It weighs a lot+plus packaging fees. His packagin was terrible-sub was almost tearing the box and instead of bubble paper or at least shreded paper like some ppl do he didn't use nothing. he just put that sub in big black trash bag and then in the box.

IMO i should call paypal and tell them i'm not goin to pay for shipping-let him handle it-after all its his fault.

what do you guys think?

 
Don't ship it. Tell PayPal you did and he has it. Get your money back.
or should i put brick inside with matching weight instead of the sub? lol

Well i don't trust paypal and i want to deal with this issue once and for all.

So i was thinking calling paypal telling them im not paying shipping...AGAIN and tell them to pay or just forget it and call my credit card and get full refund and let them start their own investigation. Hey i might keep the sub this way too. lol

 
PayPal won't accept that.

And I think they won't give the money back until the receiver verifies he got it back. It won't be good enuff to just give a tracking number and a brick in the box but it is worth a shot..

PayPal isn't going to help you besides what they've told you to do. So, if you can get the money back through your credit card company do that.

No man brick thing was a joke. If i do send a brick then how am i different from him?

You are right about paypal though. they told me send it to him, wait till he gets it then wait another 10 days and then you SHOULD BE ABLE to get your money back.

Oh yah that too... credit card companies HATE paypal. I called up my CC company and the guy on the other line wanted to chargeback even before I told him to.

Yeah i confirmed with my Credit Card a week ago they will refund right away and start ehir own investigation--only in case if it is my fault then they will take the money back.

What i was thinking this mofo doesnt reply emails and his ebay account is suspened and if my credit card company tries contacting him and he doesn't reply then im afraid i will have to keep refunded money AND the sub lol
