anyone here use any prs guitars for playing metal. main style wouldbe like all that remains, as i lay dyin, hatebreed, children of bodom etc.

i used to own one but havent played one in years and dont remember how its setup persay.

second choice is just to go wih esp or jackson, which is a more obvious choice i guess

I wouldn't cheap out.

my ex roommate has the SE Paul Allender. Paid a lot for it too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Not worth spending the cash if you just drop D thrash power cords
Get a jackson or ibanez and save a bunch
werd to yer mammy . Would be a shame to see such a fine instrument banished to a life of power chords //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

PRS are excellent guitars for a wide range of music. Metal, alternative, etc all sound very nice on these. I believe breaking benjamin and chevelle both use them.

I am a big Hamer guitar fan.

Here are some of my old bandmates guitars. Note the real deal vintage ES-335...I could shoot him for taking it out of its case haha.
