you can find those rust prevent paint that will paint over any metal?? i think i seen them at walmart

Im sure if you wanted to spend the cash you can get them powdercoated

My guess is, even if you call partsexpress to confirm if its painted or plated, they probably wont even know.

couldn't you just make something like that?

just get some 1/8" tubing from lowes, and find someone with a conduit bender

Then you could space the bars the way you wanted, too, or make designs... like a heart or a butterfly.....

then you could just drill some 1/8" holes into the face of your box, say 1/2 as deep as your box is thick, and put 'em in...

or you could use thicker bars, that might look kinda sweet too.... or fab a cover out of diamondplate.

if you don't have or can't find a conduit bender, you could even make it out of aluminum, and then have it anodized....

it would look sexxxxxxy.
