Parking ticket?

I recently recieved a parking ticket for parking in a handicapped spot. I didnt realize it because the handicap sign was faded and it was dark out. Anyways here are some pics of the parking spot let me know what you guys think? I'm thinking about contesting the ticket because its $275 and because of the sign. Pics are below..

I would contest that. Absolultely. It isnt fully there, and doesnt have the blue square around id.

And it as at night? Cop must have been pissy.

and there is no stand up sign in front of the spot like there should be. they should be marked in two spots.

check with your local building dept on what the rules are for parking lots and how handi spaces are to be marked then compare with what you have there. seems to me that they aren't maintained properly then you should have case

The guy who gave me a ticket was waiting on the side of the store. I was waiting in the truck while my cousin went inside to get some soda. About a 5 seconds after parking the "cop" pulled up behind me blocking me in. Then told me if I want to contest it call the number in back of the ticket which I did and was told to write a letter to the nearest ticket processing center explaining why I want to contest it..

Thats actually funny cause I never cared about parking in handicapped until recently anyways so I actually looked to see if it was handicap and really did not see it. I would have parked anywhere else along the store there was only 2 vehicles there so there was other spots..

it is your city clerk that handels things like this. Dont be a douche bag... but respectfully appeal this ticket. In most instances the city clerk has the authority to throw the tik away. And in most cases, the intern than handels easy situations lile this has the authority from the clerk to use their judgement... And in many cases,,, (some of which i have done the hiring) the intern is HOT!!!!

this is basic and worst case scenerio if you try to appeal,, you might not be successful but you might get a date.

Nah that fake *** cop was hiding on the side of the store waitng for people to park there and when I pulled in he drove and parked behind me

That sucks. If you were still in the car he should've just told you to move. I can't stand officers like that. It's one of the reasons a lot of people have negative views of police. They're not understanding sometimes.
